Empower Me is designed to support marginalized communities often underserved by traditional programming. Through community-led workshops, multilingual education, and custom coaching services, the program empowers participants to better understand their relationship with energy and their homes. This multi-award-winning program helps traditionally underserved households identify opportunities to save energy and money, reduce their environmental footprint, and improve the comfort, safety, and affordability of their homes. Empower Me programming currently offers in-language support in over a dozen languages.
Community Power supports Indigenous Nations to build, upgrade, and maintain homes that are safe, comfortable, healthy, and efficient. With a dedicated team of energy and housing specialists, Community Power strives to reduce energy poverty and improve housing conditions by supporting communities to secure capital for energy and housing upgrades, and by offering a range of critical services, including housing assessments and construction partnership support.
The Home Upgrades Program is a residential energy retrofit program designed to help Albertans improve affordability and reduce their energy consumption by providing fully subsidized energy retrofits and energy education. The program offers varying levels of support, products, and installations depending on the needs of the home, and how difficult it is for a household to pay their energy bills.
